Estimated amount of teens and leaders coming

Event
Monday, January 21st from 9am-3pm

Location:  Pierpont COTN Gym

We wanted to do an event where teens are helping other teens and this is it!

Sundries… what is that? It’s an accounting and bookkeeping term for small and insignificant things.

We want to help our teens look for these often overlooked and seemingly small ways to help others that make a huge impact… especially in other teenagers.

We want to focus our teens to the physical needs of other teens and we are highlighting this by the cost/fee of our event.  We are asking for in addition to the $10 entrance fee a donation of $10+ worth of hygiene items per teenager.  We will be donating these to an organization within Preston County Schools that helps get these to teens in need.

Your group can collect hygiene items such as …

toothpaste

toothbrush

hair brush

hair comb

hair ties

soap

shampoo

deodorant

feminine products

Bandaids

Detergent pods

Floss

Slippers

What else to bring:

Warm winter gear/clothes

    * Make sure to bring large waterproof bags to take home wet cold winter gear

Outdoor toys (balls, sleds, reindeer 🙂

Hot dog sticks at campfire (for smores)

* Special Note: we will be at the gym so we will have indoor activities as well but our hope is to be outside.

Competitions:

Best Snow Angels

Snowman contest

Teams and Creativity is encouraged and feel free to bring items to decorate and color the snow (as long as it is biodegradable… for example food coloring in spray bottles)

Snowball target gallery:  think carnival games… targets will fall and make loud noises
